About our client
our client is an international manufacturing company with different plants in western europe.
job description
you will ensure that the financial reporting - both for statutory reporting and for group purposes - is finalized within the deadlines, in a correct and controlled way and compliant to national legislation and group guidelines. furthermore you will provide the management with structured data and you will support required management decisions. you act as the first point of contact for matters like tax, insurance, treasury and audits. you monitor the profitability from close by and you take actions to increase the long term profitability.

your accountabilities are:
you will be responsible for a team of 3 people and you report to the country manager;
you are responsible for the month and year-end closure of books, both for statutory and group purposes;
you conduct the monthly variance analysis against budget, forecast and last year results;
you support the country manager with in-depth market, volume and expense analyses. furthermore you maintain current internal reporting;
you are the main contact for the external partners: bank, external auditors, ?;
you support the country manager with the drawing up of the annual budget and long term plans;
you work out and analyse personal targets, motivation system in line with country manager's and group requirements.

who we are looking for
you have a university degree with 5 - 10 years experience within a financial role. you have excellent people skills and a strong business focus. you want to commit yourself to sustain the growth of a company with an international presence. furthermore you have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
