Functiebeschrijving - you are part of one of our vessel docking teams within the technical department. the docking team is responsible for preparing and following up the major repairs of our vessels at dry docks worldwide, from a technical and a budgetary point of view.

within your team you take charge of the administrative, budgetary and logistical aspects of the dry docking process, such as planning and organising transportation and housing for the crew members and the docking team, follow up of local transportation of equipment, receipt of goods, daily follow-up of work in progress, verification of work records, and budgetary follow up of the docking project.

you work in close collaboration with the docking team, and report to the technical manager.


profiel you hold at least a bachelor's degree in mechanics, logistics or finance, and have a thorough interest in the other domains;

you have strong analytical skills, are meticulous and organised;

you can work independently, and take the initiative in finding solutions for practical problems;

you are prepared to work on overseas assignments for extended periods of time.

you are fluent in english. knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
